Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American actor and musician from the United States who was first noticed for her clever raps that delved into racial as well as sexuality from a boldly comic perspective. Then she moved on into Hollywood. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first musical experience came in the form of the trumpet. Also, she received the classical and jazz education later when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. In her studies, she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even studying Mandarin in Beijing for a short time. After graduating, she began to concentrate on music. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success through the Internet and was later released on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. The album also had viral hits such as the body positive Queef or winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The latter track connected directly with another Awkwafina project NYC a travel guide published in 2015. She began pursuing acting career after having completed her two previous endeavors, author and musician. Along with the early TV shows such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films such as Neighbors and Storks. The actress made headlines in 2018 with a few notable films like Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by In Fina We Trust in June of that year.
